Antigua Sailing Week Gears Up for Unveiling of Commemorative Book

The Antigua Sailing Week organizing committee is gearing up for the unveiling of its commemorative book that celebrates the 50-year existence of the regatta.

Organizers will unveil the 160-page hard cover book titled Antigua Sailing Week: The First 50 Years at a cocktail reception to be held at the Admiral’s Inn in the Nelson’s Dockyard on Tuesday, April 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Some of the history makers of Antigua Sailing Week will be in attendance and available to sign the book.

The coffee-table book was sponsored by Citizenship by Investment Unit and was created to record the history of Antigua Sailing Week. It includes photographs, interviews and memorable stories from history-makers, who have made key contributions to the event over the years.

Copies will also be available for purchase at the reception. Other copies are available for purchase in the Antigua Sailing Week Office and during Antigua Sailing Week from the official gift store at the Antigua Yacht Club Car Park.
