Antigua’s Rocco Falcone to Represent Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in Unicredit Youth America’s Cup in Barcelona, Spain

Antigua’s own Rocco Falcone is set to take on the world stage as he joins the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Youth Team for the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup in Barcelona. This exciting event begins on September 17th, when the teams will battle it out on the water against the best young sailors from around the globe. Rocco is no stranger to competition and began his career in the Optimist class. He later moved on to Laser, 29ers, Dragons, Big Boats, One Design Classes, and vintage and classic boats. He also has several offshore regattas and three Atlantic crossings under his belt.

After an action-packed season with 69F Sailing, -including an impressive streak of podiums- Rocco was selected to join the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Youth Team. He has since spent the year working with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli and preparing himself for the impending regatta. “I am honored to represent Antigua at the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup. I’m especially grateful to those who have supported me along the way! Huge thanks to the Antigua & Barbuda Ministry of Tourism and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina & Resort.”
