Trinidad & Tobago Sailing Association’s Christmas Hamper Race is a long-held end of year tradition. This fun race is not too long and includes both keelboat and dinghy racers. Donations by supportive companies include a variety of items including drinks and foodstuffs for the Christmas table.
Budget Marine Trinidad has sponsored hampers for this race over a number of years and in 2022 provided 3 hampers with chandlery items suitable for an adult man, an adult woman and a youth sailor. It is good to see yacht racing recovering from two difficult years for the sailing community in Trinidad.
