Calling for Yacht Workers and Companies to Sign-up for COVID-19 Compliance Training

The Antigua and Barbuda Marine Association (ABMA) is working with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism to provide training to all yacht workers and yacht service companies who will come into contact with visiting yachts this season to create a COVID-19 Compliance Training Certificate.

Vice President of the ABMA and General Manager of Falmouth Harbour Marina, Bobby Reis, has daily contact with yachts planning to visit Antigua and Barbuda this coming season. ‘While the Government has put into place strict procedures with regards to arriving visitors and yachtsmen the yachts themselves will also be strictly managing access to their yachts due to the risk of Covid-19. To that end, the ABMA will be organising training with all yacht workers to ensure they are clear on the necessary protocols to keep themselves and the yachts safe.’

The ABMA is requesting that all marine service businesses and yacht workers register so that they can be included in the training. Registration is extended to Monday 9th November 2020.

To register please fill in the details here: https://abyma.ag/yacht-workers-registration/
