CARICOM Blue Economy Survey

Ruel Ellis, from the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

Have been tasked with mapping the Blue Economy activities taking place in the CARICOM Region on behalf of The World intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The ABMA and it’s members has been identified as active participants in the Blue Economy, and thus important to the economic development of the Region.

To assist in this exercise, we are supporting Ruel in requesting that you spend a couple minutes completing a survey. The results of this survey, is to allow WIPO to develop an intervention which would assist you in the further completion and commercialization of your Blue Economy work. Also, the results would be shared with you at a Regional Conference on the Blue Economy to be held later this year.

Please note that the data which you provide will be treated with the strictest confidence, and is only to be used for the completion of this project. I thank you for your participation in this survey, as we seek to provide a sustainable economic footing for yourselves and the nations of the CARICOM Region.

The survey instrument is accessible from this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CARICOMBlue
