Stand-Alone Round Antigua Race

by Alison Sly-Adams

09 March 2022

While not part of the Superyacht Challenge Antigua Series, much of the fleet will take part in a Round Antigua Race today Wednesday 9th March. The 46.8nm course is a great opportunity for teams to get in race trim for the four-race series which starts on Thursday 10th March.

In 2018, the modified Volvo 70, Warrior completed the Peters & May Round Antigua Race in elapsed time of 3 hrs 55 mins 38 seconds. The long-standing record for a Superyacht was set in 2009 by Peter Harrison’s Farr 115 Sojana in an elapsed time of 4 hours, 37 minutes and 43 seconds.

Results will be posted on the Superyacht Challenge Website
