Azores Ports and Marinas are closed to navigation

Due to the epidemic caused by Corona Virus, the Azores Governing Council has decided to suspend all permits for the mooring of cruise ships and yachts in the ports and marinas of the Azores, unless duly authorized by the region provided that it is guaranteed that they do not disembark passengers and all crew members, until at least 31 March 2020, with the probability of extending this period.

In view of the above, it is currently not advisable to visit the Azores by sea.
