We hope that everyone is safe and following the government guidelines on the curfew. We understand that it is challenging for many, but hope that you understand the government is taking the necessary precautions to minimise the spread of Covid-19 in Antigua and Barbuda.

Many thanks to all yachts who responded to the survey last week. We continue to receive surveys and will be responding to each. Apologies if you have not yet heard from us.

In the meantime, there were a number of similar questions asked and to assist in easier communications we have created  a Frequently Asked Questions page on the website. This page will serve as a repository for answers which will continue to be updated as we get more information.

The link to the page is https://abyma.ag/faq

We will also continue to update  the latest government advisories here:

The curfew has been extended for another week with some additional businesses being allowed to open. You are also now permitted to exercise on land only during the hours of 7 am to 12 pm daily. Please read the details on the FAQ link carefully.

Please note that although the amount of services being allowed to open has increased and we now have exercise privileges, this is not an invitation to loiter, cluster in groups or spend any longer away from your abode (boat or house) than necessary. We must also emphasise that beaches continue to be closed.

There will be a further update from immigration shortly which we will add to the FAQ page as soon as we have it and send out as a separate alert.

We can also confirm that yacht chandleries and services have been added to the list of businesses allowed to operate. This will be within the hours of 7 am – 12 pm. As it each businesses individual choice how and if they operate, please call ahead to discuss your requirements. This will minimise personal contact and ensure you are not disappointed to find a business closed.

In all cases when outside of your abode, you must adhere to social distancing of 6 feet and wear a mask or face covering. .

We appreciate the outreach from our many visitors and will seek to continue to work with the relevant government agencies to provide you with updated information and assist in ongoing issues as a result of the current situation
